Brandblack is an athletic footwear brand founded by David Raysse, a long time veteran of the sneaker industry. His idea was to combine performance footwear and technical apparel with bold, high-fashion aesthetics. We created the brand identity, advertising and packaging to take his vision to the world.

JAMAL CRAWFORD’S J.CROSSOVER IDENTITY

The "J.Crossover" is Jamal Crawford's signature shoe for Brandblack. When we began work on the logo, we thought about ways to visualize Jamal's distinct athletic style. Our final design shows his initials forming an "X" that symbolizes the ball crossing side-to-side in Jamal’s famous crossover move. He loved it. The client loved it. And so it was.

FORCE VECTOR TECHNOLOGY

Force Vector is a proprietary Brandblack technology. It provides incredible stability, while remaining ultralight in weight. We designed the Force Vector logo (an “F” hovering over a “V”) and created impactful ads to highlight the latest in basketball tech.
